Sonsbeek 2008 is working in a special way with a number of cultural partners in Arnhem.
Museum for Modern Art Arnhem
Carried Away - ‘Procession in Art’
14 June - 21 September 2008
The exhibition shows that numerous 20th century artists (including
Stephen Wilks, participating artist Sonsbeek 2008) have been inspired
by political, religious or social parades and processions.

Yasue Maetake and Lara
Schnitger, both of whom are participating in Sonsbeek 2008, have each
made an installation in the museum.
Historical Museum Arnhem

The
history of the 10 Sonsbeek exhibitions,beginning in 1949, is depicted
by means of documents, newsreels, photographs and a special collection
of archive material.
Sonsbeek Museum Ticket
This ticket costing € 5,- provides
admittance to the Museum for Modern Art and the Historical Museum. It
is available at the information centres in Sonsbeek Park, various
bookshops and department stores, the VVV, hotels in the region of
Arnhem and Nijmegen and at the museums themselves.
Art route – A walk along the Sonsbeek past
A splendid walking
route along sculptures that have acquired a permanent place in the
city, the museums and Sonsbeek Park after the various Sonsbeek
exhibitions. The Art Route is available for € 2,50 at the information
centres in Sonsbeek Park, various bookshops and department stores, the
VVV, hotels in the region of Arnhem and Nijmegen and at the Arnhem
Museum for Modern Art and the Arnhem Historical Museum.
Kröller-Müller Museum
The sculpture garden of the Kröller-Müller Museum displays numerous
works from previous Sonsbeek exhibitions that have been purchased by
the museum.
