Communities

Twentyfour so-called 'Guilds', communities specially formed for the Procession, will carry the works of art through the streets in a demonstration of their involvement in the art and the theme of Sonsbeek 2008. These bearer guilds come from professional associations, social clubs, schools, business clubs and amateur art societies, in short from all levels of the population. Together, they are making the Procession into a Social Work of Art.
