Leading international artists give shape to ‘Grandeur'

Which artists are going to be part of the Sonsbeek exhibition? Artistic director Anna Tilroe has selected 28 top artists from all continents and asked them to give shape to the pursuit of human grandeur. A number of them have seldom been shown in Europe, a fact that made this Sonsbeek an art event that has been anxiously looked forward to, both nationally and internationally.

The selected artists, each in his or her own very personal way, are giving shape to the urge, the dream, the conflict and the struggle that are irrevocably connected with the strive for grandeur. Their art shows "Grandeur on a human scale".
